DAY 1: ARRIVE IN LAKE COMO –  Your Northern Italy Tour Begins!
Morning arrival at Milan airport, meet your private driver for transfer to your hotel accommodation in the Como area. After check-in, in the late afternoon, enjoy a cruise along the lakeside of Como and reach a charming restaurant with a spectacular view where you will be served a delicious dinner. After dinner back to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: HIKING AROUND  COMO
Breakfast at the hotel. Go for a hike, take the Brunate funicular end enjoy the ride. You will walk between mountains and forests until you reach the church of St. Elizabeth from where you will be astonished by the amazing view. You will continue to the village of Piazzaga where you will discover the mysterious Massi Avelli (stone tomb), and after you will descend to the picturesque village of Torno. Back to Como by boat. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 3: VERONA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to Verona. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon city tour through this romantic city, setting of Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. You will explore the old town and see several Roman ruins that make Verona “a little Rome”, as many call it. You will also see the Arena, a Roman amphitheater built for gladiator games and nowadays the biggest Opera house in the world. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: DOLOMITI DAY TRIP
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to discover the UNESCO Heritage Dolomites. Reach Passo Pordoi and take the panoramic funicular up to more than 10,000 feet high, with a breathtaking view over the Dolomites. Here you can walk around and stop at some Rifugio for lunch. From here you can admire the white stones of Marmolada. On your way back you will stop a few times to explore other valleys. You will be back in Verona with an open heart and big excitement for this memorable mountain journey experience. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: PADUA, GIOTTO’S MASTERPIECE – VICENZA, PALLADIO’S HERITAGE
Breakfast at the hotel. From Verona reach the beautiful Padua and visit the famous Scrovegni Chapel, a masterpiece of 14th-century frescos, executed by Giotto. The walking tour will include also the Caffé Pedrocchi, the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, and Prato Della Valle, one of the biggest squares in Europe. On your way to Padova stop in Vicenza, a UNESCO heritage city famous for its architecture designed by the great Andrea Palladio during the Renaissance. Return to your hotel in Verona. Overnight stay.

DAY 6: VENICE CITY OF CANALS
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Venice was once called the Serenissima Republic. After checking in, meet your guide for a tour of the Bacari (typical wine bars,) where you will taste some traditional small plates of Venetian specialties (nizioleti,) paired with a glass of good wine (cicchetto). Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

DAY 7: MARVELS OF ST MARKS AND DOGE’S PALACE & EVENING SHOW
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to the discovery of this one-of-a-kind city. Join your guide on a Classic Venice tour and be ready to be amazed by the treasures of this romantic city. Explore St. Mark’s Square and St. Mark’s Basilica, built over several centuries and resulting in a blend of Byzantine, Roman, and Venetian architecture. Admire the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sights, and the Piombi prison. Afternoon on your own. Evening optional: show at the Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto at 8:30 PM. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 8: FLORENCE – GENIUSES OF THE RENAISSANCE
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure by high-speed train to Florence and check-in at your hotel upon arrival. Lunch on your own. At 3:00 PM meet your guide at your hotel for a guided walking tour of the city center, including the Accademia museum, the Duomo with the magnificent Brunelleschi’s Dome, and Ghiberti’s Baptistery door, and the main streets of this lively city. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 9: UFFIZI GALLERY TREASURES
Breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will meet with you at the hotel for a private tour of Palazzo Pitti and the Uffizi Galleries. Afternoon and evening on your own to visit some of the city’s art-filled churches (Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella, just to name a few), stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, and perhaps try one of the many trattorie or restaurants of your liking. Overnight stay.

DAY 10: CHIANTI DISCOVERY WITH LUNCH AT A FARMHOUSE
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will depart toward the Tuscan countryside. A journey through the Chianti countryside, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany famous the world over for its wine and for its unforgettable landscapes, it’s a lifetime experience. You will visit the Chianti Region where you will experience excellent tastings of wines, extra-virgin olive oil, and local delicacies. The itinerary includes also a visit to three picturesque old villages: Greve in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, and San Donato in Poggio. Lunch at a local farmhouse. Following lunch continue to Siena, famous for its Palio which takes place every year on Piazza del Campo. Check-in and evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 11: SIENA & GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with your guide for a walking tour to discover the historical center and admire the Townhall and the Romanesque/Gothic Cathedral. Finish the tour with a visit to an artist’s studio to learn about the ancient tradition of glass making. Your guide will suggest various good restaurants and places to visit on your own in the afternoon, from good wine bars to current exhibitions, to antique stores and other shopping.
Return to your hotel. Optional: in the afternoon you can join a traditional cooking class during which you will learn how to make dishes such as handmade pasta, using only fresh ingredients. Overnight stay.

DAY 12: PISA LEANING TOWER
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to the UNESCO World Heritage Cinque Terre, five fishing villages connected by walking paths, train, or boat. On the way stop to Pisa and admire the famous Piazza Dei Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, one of the most instantly recognizable structures on earth. Lunch on your own. Departure to the Cinque Terre after lunch. Check-in at your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 13: DRAMATIC PANORAMAS OF THE CINQUE TERRE
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a full day at your disposal to discover one of the villages, explore its alleyways and stairways, sunbathe at the beach, take a dip in the blue waters, or just sip a cappuccino and people watching. This day is for you to enjoy to the fullest. Overnight stay.

DAY 14: MILAN – THE CAPITAL OF FASHION
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Milan and check-in at your hotel. You will stay in Milan for 1 night. Meet your guide at the hotel and start a walking guided tour. Your guide will lead to a discovery journey to the most famous sites Milan is known for. The first stop will be at the marvelous church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie, to admire the world’s most celebrated painting by one of the world’s greatest geniuses ever: Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”. Following the visit, continue to the historical center of Milan to the magnificent Gothic cathedral on Piazza Duomo. Stroll around and walk through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the world’s oldest shopping mall that hosts. Evening on your own. Overnight stay.

DAY 15: DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the airport and departure. Arrivederci!
