Milan Fashion Week 2015

Milan Fashion Week 2015

Unbelievable! Milan is smaller than 200 sq. km. It has less than 1,5M  inhabitants. It is not the capital of Italy and has never been it before. It doesn’t have beautiful Mediterranean costs. And Alps are quite far from the city. And still, it is on the world map. Everybody knows Milan! Everybody wants to visit! How come?

Fashion and design brought this city to the top of the world travel chart, proclaiming it a capital of style and good taste. As a consequence, several times a year Milan hosts global events that attracts people from all over the world.

One of them will start today. It is Milano Fashion Week 2015 that from February 25th to March 2ns will dedicate all the attention to the female style and will reveal fresh ideas for the next Fall Winter Collections 2015-16.

Among all world fashion weeks, Milan (together with Paris, New York and London) is among the top. There is no surprise though. Such “made in Italy” names as Gucci, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Giorgio Armani are the leaders of the global fashion market. So, why wouldn’t they bring fashion experts and their proper clients and admirers home to share what they are up to?

However, Milano Fashion Week is not limited to Italians maison only. Some of the most famous brands from all over the world will be here too these days. So just to name some, the city will have an honor to see such “foreigners” as English John Richmond, German Jil Sander and London based Uma Wang.

In total around 70 official fashion shows and many more unofficial private parties will flood the city for one week. Saying that, Milano Fashion Week is not for fashion experts only. Please contact Cultural Italy for details and packages.
