We’re back from our much anticipated Italian vacation, and we had an amazing experience thanks to your help. Everything was perfect. The hotels in all three cities were beautiful and perfectly located, which was most important to us. We were able to walk everywhere without having to rely on taxis because of their centralized locations.
Venice was the hardest city to navigate for us, but it was beautiful and an amazing place to (literally) get lost in. Our guided tour of St Mark’s Square was very informational. Cinque Terre was breathtaking. Our walking tour was rough because of the heat, but our guide (Marcella) was great. Rome was definitely the highlight of our trip. The hotel was beautiful, and the people at the front desk were extremely helpful. In Rome we had three separate tours, one with City Wonders (which was a bigger group) and the other two with Over Rome. We had the best experience with City Wonders. The tour company was very organized and easy to spot with flags and bright colored t-shirts. They also arrived to the meeting locations early. Over Rome was ok but extremely difficult to locate, and in both instances arrived just a few minutes passed the meeting time. Also our City Wonders guide, Julia, was extremely personable and funny. She kept everything light hearted and interesting.
I hope my feedback is helpful to you. I know my husband and I will be back to Italy because it was just such an overall AMAZING experience. We will definitely reach out to you for our future Italy travels.
