Tour to Siena, & San Gimignano

Itinerary Details

In the hills of Tuscany, these medieval towns offer snippets of Life in Italy.  San Gimignano is a medieval metropolis offering piazzas, palaces and places of worship.  The towers that oversee the city have to be seen to be believed.  The Chianti Classico region is home to the Nero Gallo (The Black Rooster) where wine is produced.  You will have a wine tasting that is accompanied by a typical Tuscan lunch.  Wild boar (“cinghiale”) is a favorite of the region, but vegetarian meals are available.  The afternoon is spent in Siena.  This hillside elegant city offers you official tour guides, both in English and Spanish to take you through the city of Catherine.  The Duomo of pink and blue marble, coupled with the Piazza del Campo that hosts “Il Palio”, make this an unforgettable city.
