DAY 1: ARRIVE IN BARI
Upon arrival at Bari airport, meet your private driver for transfer to your hotel. Check in. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: DISCOVER BARI AND POLIGNANO A MARE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will enjoy a walking tour of Bari, Puglia’s prosperous seaside capital, where you will see Romanisque churches, the riotous market and the elegant medieval piazzas, the beautiful St. Nicola’s Basilica, the seaside promenade and the busy pedestrian shopping area. You will experience the whole range of the local street food. After lunch meet your private driver for a visit of Polignano a Mare to admire the impressive panoramas fro the seaside terraces overhanging the rock, and why not, indulging yourself with a tasty gelato or granita, pride of the locals. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 3:  CASTEL DEL MONTE: THE OCTAGONAL SHAPED CASTLE
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of the historical fishing port of Trani. Discover the Templar Knight’s Church and the historical center. Lunch in a typical masseria in the countryside. Continue with the visit the UNESCO heritage site of Castel del Monte, the most important testimony in the region of the Hohenstaufen Monarchy and site full of unrevealed mysteries. Return to Bari. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: ALBEROBELLO, THE CITY OF TRULLI
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your private driver and transfer to Alberobello. On your way, you will stop for a guided tour of Grotte di Castellana, an amazing complex of caves and their rock formations. Continue and reach Alberobello, the village famous for its fantastic trulli houses, conical limestone dwellings, typical of this region, visit the Trullo Sovrano and museum. After a stop at an oil mill for olive oil tasting, reach your hotel and check in. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: OSTUNI, THE WHITE CITY, AND LOCOROTONDO
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your driver and visit Ostuni, also known as The White City, a charming place on a hilltop with a labyrinth of lanes lined with houses painted in white lime wash. Continue to Locorotondo, visit the historic center and enjoy its laid back atmoshpere before join a cooking class. Return to Alberobello. Overnight stay.

DAY 6:  MATERA CAVE HOUSES
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your private driver for transfer to Matera. Before reaching your next destination, stop to Gioia del Colle for a guided tour, some of the sights you will visit are the castle and its museum, the churches and the historical center. You will stop st a family-run winery for wine tasting and light lunch. After you will head to Matera and its UNESCO World Heritage site “the Sassi”. Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 7: COOKING CLASS IN MATERA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour of Matera. Learn about these ancient dwellings and breathe in the energy of the past. You will visit the ancient neighborhoods and the medieval necropolis. The stories of everyday life in the town of Sassi will leave you in owe. Thousands of years ago, the people of Matera carved their streets, homes, businesses, and churches in the rocks and that is where life all began. In the afternoon enjoy a cooking class where you will learn how to prepare some typical dishes of the Basilicata region. Overnight stay.

DAY 8: METAPONTO AND GREEK TEMPLES
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your private driver to explore the Tavole Palatine, also known as the Temple Dorico of Hera, an ancient sanctuary situated in the Metaponto’s lowland. Your guide will then bring Apollo Licio’s archeological Park to life. This polytheistic Greek culture left us five Doric and Jonic temples to discover. The tour ends with a visit of the Archaeologic Museum in Metaponto, the richest Greek influence in all the Basilicata region. Continue to Bari and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 9: DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the airport and departure. Arrivederci!
