We are a family of 5 (ages 21 – 63) traveling together to Europe for the 1st time and we recently returned from a 2 week adventure to Italy that Marcella designed specifically to meet our needs. Right from the start Marcella listened to our interests and the type of experience we were interested in. She put together an outstanding itinerary that met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. She provided us with the right balance between tours and time on our own (giving us tips along the way for places to dine, explore and experience Italy). The accommodations that she arranged were all top notch and included welcoming and informative hosts. The guides and drivers were all extremely communicative, knowledgeable and top notch. The highlight of our trip was Marchella’s coordination of transportation to visit with relatives that we had never met and live in a remote and out of the way location. Our driver, Angelo, was fantastic and despite some unexpected road closures and re-routing he was able to get us safely to our family and he also served as an interpreter!! Cultural Italy’s agents in country were excellent and available 24/7 to answer any questions we had and assist with some last minute itinerary changes. We never used a travel agent prior to this adventure and I would not do it any other way ever again. I hope we can find a “Cultural Italy” for all of our future travels.
