Just back from our vacation to Italy and wanted to let you know how wonderful all the plans you made turned out. The hotel was great and in a perfect location. Loved the breakfasts and happy hour at night where we were able to meet travellers from all over and discuss our day together. It would be a great hotel to recommend to any of your future clients. The excursions you recommended to Tuscany and Cinque Terre were well planned and we loved getting out of the city. Loved learning about the history of Florence on our walking tour and of course the museums were very informative and beautiful. The one thing we were not prepared for were the thousands of tourists that come into the city every day. We could not believe it, however, by night they were gone and we were better able to enjoy the city. We loved to sit at a cafe by the Duomo and have a glass of wine and marvel at the beauty. And of course there’s the shopping and the food! Train travel in Europe is so far advanced compared to here in North America. Our trip to Venice was very smooth and we noticed that many people use the train system. Found Venice to be as crowded as Florence but seemed cramped since it is such a small area. Very unique for sure and I am glad we decided to see it, although I would not prefer to spend a lot of time there. And it was such a luxury to have a driver pick us up and take us back to the airport. Well worth it!
