Our trip to Italy April 29-May 15, 2023
Planned and executed by Rita di Stephano & Lilliana Levenson, both from Cultural Italy.
We spent two weeks in Italy which encompassed Venice, Florence, Rome, Sorrento, and one night in Naples to be closer to the airport.
After finding out what our interests are and what our thoughts were about what we wanted to see and experience in Italy, Rita planned our itinerary. We had something scheduled every day and each day was different. We went to museums, toured beautiful churches, rode bicycles, went to a winery in Tuscany, took a boat ride to the Isle of Capri, experienced a cooking class, and still had enough free time to shop and rest. We found enough time to enjoy local restaurants for lunch and/or dinner.
Between cities, we traveled by train in first class. We stayed in beautiful and interesting four-star hotels. We were met each morning at our hotel by our tour guide for that day. The tour guides were absolutely amazing because of their professionalism and knowledge of both present-day and historical facts. We just loved each of them and very much enjoyed their company. One guide we were with for two days, showed up the second with a cap on from one of our sports teams!
The finest point of booking with Cultural Italy is their attention to detail and communication with us. They were available any time before and during the trip, with just a phone call or email. As two people who own businesses, we were so impressed with their acuity.
When complete, they sent us our itinerary which contained our daily activity, along with the name of our tour guide, where we were meeting, a contact phone number, and also our train tickets.
This was the best no-worry approach to traveling that we have ever experienced. In conclusion, Cultural Italy would be a golden agency for any trip you may be planning. They are the hallmark of perfection for a travel agency.
