Hi Laura,
It was an amazing trip! The weather was great, everything went smoothly and we just had the best time. We literally all got teary when it was time to come home. Here is my feedback:
-Hotel Hassler and Savoy were great. The Savoy especially went above and beyond expectations. It was one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in – any my husband and I have been everywhere. The service was outstanding and the location was awesome. The Westin in Venice was not so great. The service was not good, the hotel needs some fixing up, although the location was perfect.
-By far, our highlights were the Food Tour in Rome, the pizza class in Florence and lunch at the farm in San Giminignano. Our kids would have liked more time in SG, and we would cut out Greve in Chianti if we had to do it again. The driver we had was really, really good. So nice and helpful.
-The day in Murano was really fun. It was great timing to get away from the big cities and we really enjoyed our day there.
-The tour guides in Florence and Rome for the Colosseum were amazing. Both were really good with kids, very fun and friendly and good at reading the pace we needed to keep. The guide in Siena was good – it was pouring rain and she was very flexible.
-I would recommend Roscioli to your clients for lunch in Rome – one of our favorite meals
