I hope this finds you well.
Now that we are back from our beautiful trip and have had the time to take care of our jet lag and everything else in our daily lives, I wanted to take this time to thank you for everything you had done to make our culinary trip to Italy, one that we will not forget soon! All six of us are people who are well travelled and been around the world on different occasions, and with your help, we managed to experience 8 days of fun, relaxed, and interesting take on Italy that was not like anything we had done before….
At the Villa in Tuscany, we had 3 days that felt like staying with family! Alessandra and her husband Ahmad were the most genuine and generous people and being in that little town, felt like we knew everyone. We biked, walked, tried different food and wine and of course cooked, and all of it was amazing. The scenery and the nature of Tuscany was phenomenal and of course, getting to know Alessandra and her family was an added bonus…
All of our transfers and tour guides that you had arranged were punctual, professional, and very helpful but one that stands out was the young guy by name of “Leonardo” who took us on the wine tasting tour of Tuscany…. He had a perfect English and was such an interesting and knowledgeable person!! He was funny and we had a great day having him as our tour guide and driver…. It would be great if you could pass along this feedback to his boss and to him.
The 2 days we spent in Spoleto was also very memorable and the hotel you had picked for us was great….the service, cleanliness, and the location was outstanding…. We loved Spoleto for everything it had to offer but most of all the shopping was something else!? We ended up finding this shoe store that had Italian, hand made, leather shoes that were on sale (unbelievable prices) and just went to town with it. We bought so many shoes and boots but I still am sorry for not having bought more.
And of course, the Cinque Terre area was beautiful and amazing in its own way.
To make it short, we had a great time and I would like to thank you for working so hard to make it happen…. Your care and professionalism made planning this trip so much easier and of course your first hand knowledge of Italy was a major asset. As I said before, there were a lot of my friends and acquaintances that were waiting for us to go on this trip and I would certainly recommend you and Cultural Italy whole heartedly….
