The trip was near perfect and clearly exceeded our expectations. I had been to Italy on business a while back but that’s very different when you go and focus on seeing and experiencing the country.
Your step-by-step (page-by-page) itinerary was invaluable. The extra information you sent also had invaluable information but some of it we didn’t even read until the return. Your attention to detail was very helpful and much appreciated.
The cities we visited, and the side trips were fabulous. Really too much to say about each one but we enjoyed every stop along the way … we even did Murano and Burano on our own …cost me a lot of money at the glass factory.
The great & meet and transfer drivers were always there on time and helpful.
The trains were a terrific way to travel which we enjoyed … coffee, biscuits at 300 km/hr. !!!
Our guides were EXCELLENT. Only way to see and learn of the cities. We saw so many people wandering about taking lots of photo’s but not really getting an understanding of what they were looking at. All guides were great but we especially “bonded” with Luca in Rome.
Overall the hotels enjoyed great locations which allowed us to easily walk to lots of destinations on our own and simply wander streets off the beaten path.
