We had a magnificent trip. Thank you for all you did. Your itinerary met our needs, was the correct pace and covered everything we asked for in our requests. All ground and water transportation was on time, profession and comfortable. Train was easy to navigate.
I know you did not book the air, Salvatore did a very nice job. For service- Delta was excellent and Air France was poor.
As for the trip. Guides were all great. Kudos to David and Yaris (day trip driver to Tuscany towns who was a very nice man) as well as Patrizia in Venice and Laura in Florence (our museum/ city guides). Bravo!
Venice- Hotels friendly and excellent location. We felt a guide from the hotel to train station was not needed. It’s ‘s a short and very easy ride.
Bellagio- hotel was great. The day hike and Davide were awesome. Boat trip was interesting. Essie our driver was very nice. The lunch at Isola Comachiha was good but I advise letting people know in advance it’s 150 Euro/ couple. It’s a bit touristy, but was a beautiful and relaxing setting. I would go back to the Lake Como again but likely stay in another town to enjoy more of the expansive area.
Florence- hotel in great location. Older but clean and very friendly staff. Giovanni’s Osteria for dinner was so outstanding that we went back a second time on our own. This place is family run, make you feel like part of the family. Giovanni and Katerina the owners deserve special thanks.
We are already talking about another trip in the coming year or 2.
