Yes, All is well. So sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Just trying to play catch-up.
Everything was great. Nothing I would change except maybe spending more time in Venice v. time in Milan. The next time we go, we want to see some of the outlying regions away from the cities. Maybe visit some wine country. Otherwise, all was fabulous! I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Our favorites were Rome (for the history) and Venice (for the ambiance).
Everything went so very well with travel too. The first train station experience was a little nerve-racking, but after that it was easy. There was always a car waiting for us both to and from so the transfers were very easy. The cars were always nice as well.
The private tours were great-especially the Rome tours with Manuela. She was awesome. I’d use her any time I could if I were you. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Actually, all the guides were really good. You did a great job with that. I’d use all of them again.
Cinque Terre kicked our a$$es. I’m not sure how else that trip could have been done but we did a LOT of walking and hiking. (Thus, the name “Cinque Terre Hiking Tour”) LOL. But, I’m very glad we did it.
So, to sum it up, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! You did a great job on everything. If we ever get the opportunity to travel to Italy again I will definitely be giving you a call.
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING. You made our trip a wonderful experience that we’ll never forget.
