As you saw from my review, our trip was awesome. It was everything I dreamed it would be and more. We saw and learned so much of Italy. The personal tours were all so much fun and interesting. The larger tours were also very good; guides were always so friendly, organized and so informative. We ate some great food and drank our share of good wine! I am a Cabernet fan but learned how much I like a glass of Chianti Classico!
The hotels were perfect. After long days we slept so good! We were upgraded in Venice to a suite and in Sorrento to a sea view! I did not know if you had something to do with that but that was such a nice surprise! The escort services were always on time, friendly and attentive. The best one in Venice who waited with us for our train to Florence and literally brought us to our coach and our seat! The personal guides we had in Venice (Roberta), Florence (Claudia and Gastone), Siena and Rome (Claudia) were clearly experienced and even if their English was not perfect communicated very well with us. Our guide out of Rome and through to Sorrento was less fluent in English and a little less experienced. She was a lovely young lady but was less communicative and less organized as the others had been. Ah and Cinque Terre was one of our highlights! I am so glad we did it. My husband was in heaven taking so many pictures! What a fun day that was.
So many great memories!! The trip was perfect and thanks to you for listening to how we wanted to spend our time there – that’s what made it so perfect. We look forward to one day returning to this wonderful country!
