Day 1: Arrive in Palermo

Welcome to Sicily! Upon arrival at Palermo Airport, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in the city center. Settle in and prepare for your Sicilian adventure. This evening, indulge in a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the island’s unique blend of flavors. Overnight stay in Palermo.

Day 2: Palermo &
Monreale tour

After breakfast, meet your private guide for a tour of Palermo and Monreale. Discover Palermo’s fascinating history, shaped by Phoenicians, Greeks, Arabs, and Normans. Visit iconic landmarks and marvel at the cultural blend that defines the city. Continue to Monreale to explore its breathtaking cathedral, renowned for the largest cycle of Byzantine mosaics in Italy. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Palermo.

Day 3: Erice & Segesta
History on the hilltops

Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a full-day guided excursion to western Sicily. Begin with a visit to Erice, a medieval town perched above the port of Trapani. After a traditional Sicilian lunch, continue to Segesta to explore its 5th-century Doric temple—one of the finest examples of ancient Greek architecture in Italy. Return to Palermo for overnight stay.

Day 4: Agrigento &
Villa Romana del Casale

After breakfast, depart for Agrigento and meet your guide for a walking tour of the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to some of the most pristine Greek ruins outside of Greece. Continue to Piazza Armerina to admire the exquisite mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale. End your day in Caltagirone, a town known for its ceramics and artistic flair. Check into your hotel and overnight stay.

Day 5: Baroque splendor
Ragusa, Noto & Siracusa

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Siracusa, stopping first in Ragusa Ibla for a guided walking tour of its elegant baroque streets. Enjoy a wine tasting and lunch before continuing to the town of Noto, often called “the Capital of Sicilian Baroque.” Arrive in Siracusa and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 6: Ortigia & Taormina
Seaside elegance

After breakfast, explore Ortigia Island, Siracusa’s historic baroque center. Visit the stunning cathedral built over a former Temple of Athena, the Fountain of Arethusa, and the Temple of Apollo. Head to the Neapolis Archaeological Park to see the Roman Amphitheater and the famous “Ear of Dionysius.” In the afternoon, travel to Taormina and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Taormina &
the Greek Theatre

After breakfast, meet your guide for a walking tour of Taormina, often referred to as the “Jewel of the Ionian Sea.” Visit the ancient Greek Theatre, offering breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the sea. Day 8: Mount Etna adventure &
wine tasting

Fuel up with breakfast before heading out on a thrilling Jeep excursion to Mount Etna. Explore the less-traveled northern slopes of Europe’s highest active volcano, reaching heights of nearly 9,200 feet. Afterward, visit a local vineyard for a tasting of Etna DOC wines and a traditional Sicilian lunch. Return to Taormina in the late afternoon. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Aeolian Islands escape
Lipari & Vulcano

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Milazzo and set off on a full-day private boat tour to the UNESCO-protected Aeolian Islands. First stop is Lipari, with its colorful streets and charming Old Town. Continue to Vulcano, known for its steaming fumaroles and therapeutic mud baths. Swim, explore, or simply soak in the serenity. Return to Taormina in the evening. Overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure
