The Dancers of Teatro alla Scala
As tradition dictates The Venice Debutante Grand Ball presents a tribute to Dance with the Dancers
of the most prestigious and famous Theater in the world, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, who will perform
in duos and ensembles.
From 9.00 to 9.40 pm
The Most Famous Waltzers in the World
Mº Casarin Rizzolo, the first Conductor to conduct the orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, will open the
musical part of the Ball for all the guests.
You will dance as a protagonist on the notes of the Waltzers and Polkas most famous and loved in the world.

The Gala Dinner & Bar

Midnight Defilé with “Born in Venice” Award
The end of The Venice Debutante Grand Ball propose a stunning moment of high Italian Fashion:
The Midnight Defilé and its “ Born in Venice” Award dedicated to the creation of the Patente by the
Serenissima Republic in 1474. To toast to these important Prizes the Orchestra will play for you the most
famous Waltz in the world: The Beautiful Blu Danube!
Dress Code
For Rehearsals
Ladies: Black skirt, white blouse, and no rubber-soled shoes.
Gentlemen: Black suit, white shirt, and no rubber-soled shoes.
For the Grand Ball
Ladies: Think white ball gowns, elbow-length gloves, and light-colored shoes. Your hair should be elegantly pinned up, and a white coat is essential for the parade and red carpet.
Gentlemen: A black tailcoat, white waistcoat, and white bow tie are the order of the day. Black leather shoes and socks are a must, and grooming is non-negotiable.
Costumes can be rented from Stefano Nicolao Atelier, Venice’s finest costumier.
