CULTURAL EVENT
Italy is the place for theater lovers. However, it is not only about classic La Scala in Milan, San Carlo in Naples, or La Fenice in Venice. Italy can offer also a very different theatre experience transforming entire Medieval villages into a stage. This is an incredible case of the Apricale town in Liguria.
Officially founded in the X century (also archeologists claim its origins lead back to the Bronze Age) and located just 30 km inland from San Remo, each year this borgo offers a full theater emersion managed by the Teatro Della Tosse from Genoa. Starting from 1990, the troop performs right under the stars, on the tiny stone streets of Apricale transforming Italian summer nights into spectacular and unforgettable moments.
This year Teatro Della Tosse events in Apricale will take place from August 5 to August 15. It will be the 21st edition of the “E le stelle stanno a guardare” (And the stars are watching) entitled “Le Nove Lune” (The Nine Moons): the 11 fascinating nights bringing hundreds of guests from all over the world to assist the happening.
