Our trip was the best vacation we have ever taken! Every detail was thought out so well on your part. Traveling with private drivers was something we never did before-everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Each hotel was so comfortable, spotless and beautiful! They were in great locations so we could walk outside and explore on our own. Breakfasts were so delicious & nutritious-a great way to start the day. Our tour guides were wonderful and extremely knowledgeable! Our favorite guide was Silvia in Sirmione who took us on a 3 hour walking tour of Verona. After our tour was over we asked her if she would like to join us for a glass of wine, so she took us to a local pub/restaurant and we sat & talked with her. Such a sweet woman. We were happy when she accompanied us the next morning to take us on the Sirmione walking tour with Grotte di Catullo by boat. Such a beautiful area. Our Hotel Ocelle was on the beach-unbelievably gorgeous! The train rides were very comfortable and easy to navigate.While exploring on our own we were able to pick out exceptional restaurants for dinner. Our highlight of the trip was when Lou & I went to the craftsman Massimiliano Calderone’s workshop in Venice and we made 2 pendants out of glass! So unique!
