We are home from our wonderful trip.  It was a trip of a lifetime.  Venice, Florence, Sorrento and Rome were all terrific, but the B&B in Panzano, Tuscany was something my wife and I will never forget.  We are already trying to plan when we can go back. We had a problem when we arrived by train to Rome the 22nd.  No one was there to pick us up.  We waited around and tried to get some help for around an hour without success and eventually had to pay for a taxi to the Hilton Garden Hotel which cost us 48E.  I was able to contact Roma Limo from the hotel and they told us that they were scheduled to pick us up at the train station the 23rd.  The phone call to the Limo service cost me almost 5E. The hotels in Venice, Florence and Rome were located in areas that made it easy to get around.  The Hotel Prestige in Sorrento was very nice and the service was top notch, but it was so far away from everything that an hour was wasted being shuttled to and from the town.  All the accommodations in all the hotels were very nice.

The tour guides were all friendly and knowledgeable and on time.  The only problem that we had was in Florence, for our tour to the islands.  We arrived at the pick up point an hour early, but didn’t realize that the young man behind, what looked like a food stand was our contact.  We stood right next to him, but he never seemed to realize that we were there for the tour and we missed the scheduled tour, but to his and his companies credit they did arrange for us to go on a later tour.

Overall, the trip was all that we dreamed of, and I thank you for your help.  I am looking forward  to hearing from you so we can discuss the problem at the train station in Rome.
