Calendar of Events: operas, concerts, ballet at the Teatro Regio

Turin’s Teatro Regio is the most famous opera house and opera company of Piedmont. Turin had used several buildings to host operas until the mid-1700’s when the Royal Theater was built. Teatro Regio is now hosting operas running from October to June. UNESCO has recognized the facade of Teatro Regio as a World Heritage Site along with other buildings in Piedmont. Italy is rich with history and the Royal Theater in Turin captures the beauty and spectacle of Italian art and culture in a way that few buildings do.
