Just wanted to take a moment to tell you what a wonderful trip I had visiting Venice, Florence, Tuscany and Rome in early Sep 2014. Working with Alessia Moro was a great and refreshing experience! She listened to what
my friend and I wanted to see and do and customized our trip to accomodate our unique and individual needs. Let me give you just a few examples: we assumed that having a private tour would include just the site described and
would begin and end as indicated on our itinerary. In each case, the guide provided more information, more history and more time with us than indicated. Each guide was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, whether related to the tour or not, gave suggestions for additional sites as well as directions(definitely a plus), were quite personable and made us feel important and gave us their full attention. The hotels booked for us were very good (although our expereince in Rome at the Pantheon Royal Suite was less than expected but I do not believe that was Alessia’s fault), were in ideal locations, and all had helpful and friendly staff. My favorite was Hotel Silla in Florence! I loved the full day excursion to San Gimignano, Sienna and Chianti region. Although 11 hours seemed daunting at first, this tour was defitiely worth the time. We loved Sienna and wished we had a bit more time there. The private tour of Jewish Rome was great and led by a terrific guide who walked us there, providing history of many sites along the way. In addition he acted as our translator so we could navigate the lines for the Jewish museum more easily. All in all, it was a terrific vacation and I would definitely recommend Cultural Italy and Alessia Moro to anyone planning a trip to Italy!
