It had been a while since my husband and I had traveled and this was our first trip to Italy and we wanted to see as much as we could in the two weeks that we had. Aside from the extraordinary ancient ruins in Rome and the magnificent cliffs and charming towns of Cinque Terre, one of the highlights that Marcella planned was the Trastevere Twilight food tour. We stopped by 7 different restaurants and got to sample the dishes that make them stand-out places to dine along with some wonderful wine samplings. Another highlight was the overnight stay in Siena that Marcella suggested rather than a day trip. Our best meal of the trip was in Siena and the view of the Tuscany sunset that evening from the garden of our hotel was simply breathtaking. Marcella clearly knows those small details that give the traveler an exceptional experience. I will recommend Marcella and Cultural Italy to all of my friends and family.
