Ronda and I are falling in love more with each time we go!
Everything that you planned for us went like clockwork. The guides were very polite and professional. The connections by you and Salvatore were well done and timed accurately. The Antico Doge hotel was lovely and well located in Venice. The four star hotels are wonderful as it was a new awareness for Ronda. The Lake Como hotel was so centrally located with a fantastic view. I would recommend and stay in both hotels again.
In Lake Como,our guide was Ettore Maria Peron. He is very professional, a specialist on the local Villas, an author, and fun to be with. He lives in Nesso and has a B and B for rent if you should need that.
The private drivers meeting us at the Train stations were lifesavers for us. Our luggage was too large after teaching in Florence for 2 weeks. The vouchers and presentation of the itinerary was vey clear and easy to use.
Skip the Fortuny museum, pre order the tickets for the Biennali art show at the Arsenale and Gardini, we waited an hour for ticket purchase.
The only glitch was poor Elisabetta’s misfortune. We used the time to go to Fortuny and a nice lunch! Do not recommend Fortuny!
