I’m copying Roberta in here because I would like to thank her in particular for the AMAZING, incredible honeymoon she put together for us. We had an absolutely unforgettable, once in a lifetime trip and we cannot express how grateful we are. We didn’t have to worry about a thing once we were there and it was a dream come true. Highlights were certainly the accommodations at Villa Mangiacane and the cooking class there. That property is gorgeous and the service was IMPECCABLE. It was pricey, but the luxury we felt there was worth every penny. Cooking with Chef Daniele was so much fun and something we keep talking about! Our driver, Jonathan, who brought us around Tuscany to wine tasting in Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Castello Banfi, was gracious and charming, and one of our favorite people we met. The Sofitel was also one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and the staff there was incredible. The car service between Naples and Sorrento by Renato Cuomo was also just lovely. We ended up using their service to take us to a romantic dinner in Positano one night, too. We loved how each hotel acknowledged our honeymoon and sent sweet notes, bottles of Prosecco, and/or sweet treats. It made us feel so special. Oh wait! I have to mention the cruise to Capri — perhaps our favorite single day! There were eight of us on the boat, and the captain served as tour guide and photographer too. Lovely crew, beautiful weather, and the chance to swim off the boat in the Bay of Naples. Just thrilling. 🙂 I could go on and on, but I am still recovering from the jet lag. My husband and I cannot thank you enough!
