Our trip was AMAZING! We loved it and will definitely be recommending you! All of your tours were wonderful- and many were private! We enjoyed every guide we met! We were always sad to day good bye at the end of the tour!
We also enjoyed the SPA at Lunetta! How cool they are over the Pompeii Theater! The staff is TOP CLASS! From front to back! That hotel was amazing!
The room in Florence was perfect- more like a Suite- and what we had expected. The location was great! It really was just 2 blocks from the train station, but we were happy to not be lugging our luggage down the street!
We walked everywhere and loved it! (Steve lost 3 lbs on the trip and I managed not to gain….. and we DID eat!… and drink! ) We have concluded that American food is junk! Ugh!
When in Florence we were happy someone suggested we walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo. It was a good climb- but the view was hands down the best we saw!
We really got lucky! The weather was great and the crowds were “smaller”- as it was the off season. We really feel like we picked the perfect time! Every single person we encountered told us how we picked the perfect time and got lucky with the weather most days! Our day in the country side was cold an windy…but we were prepared …and still had a great time! San Gimignano was especially chilly and windy, but we still had the award winning gelato!
Well- again- we thank you for a perfect vacation! We are recovering from colds and jet lag- but are so glad we went to Italy!
