Grazie! Grazie! Once again another amazing experience with Cultural Italy!
We had a fantastic trip and I have to say we did not want to come home (even with the extreme heat we experienced)! Just our luck the hottest temperatures in many years! But even with the heat wave we loved every minute we were there. My heart is in Italy….the food, the people, the wine, the scenery, the history…I love it all!
I cannot thank you enough for all of your guidance and help planning this trip. It was a pleasure working with you and getting to know you. I have to say my experience working with you was perfect in every way. You really listened to what we were looking for and everything you suggested was fabulous.
We fell in love with each of the very distinct areas we visited including; the Val d’Orcia in Tuscany and the Veneto region including Venezia, Verona, Vincenza, Bassano del Grappa, Sirmione and Lazise. The entire trip was magical in every way and sometimes I felt like I was dreaming!
Everything went very smoothly, including the transportation between cities (using trains and private car transfers), the excursions were fabulous (especially enjoyed the wine tastings!), we enjoyed Mose (our tour guide in Venice) he was very knowledgeable and personable and we loved all of our hotels.
As for our favorite part of the trip, well this is a difficult choice as we loved each and every place we visited. I would have to say on the top of the list would be attending the opera, Nabucco by Verdi, in The Verona Arena. I am so glad we decided to do it and thanks again for helping me get the tickets! Sitting there on the same stone seats where people sat way back in the 1st century was just mind-boggling! The music and singing was phenomenal and gives me chills just thinking about it. Second to that was visiting Lake Garda, with water as clear and as blue as the Caribbean Sea – just breathtaking!
And aside from all of the places we visited the best part of all was that we were able to meet you in person! Thanks again for the personal tour of Vincenza – we really enjoyed spending time with you and learning about your city…..a quite beautiful place.
I assure you the next time I travel to Italy I will definitely be calling on you to help me plan another amazing vacation!
