Definitely an exceptional travel and tour experience. Great planning, coordination of activities and communication. Excellent handling of unforeseen changes due to weather/tour cancellations.
Good selection of reasonably priced hotels in convenient locations. Worth the price for CI services. With this type of customized tour, be sure to factor in the biggest expenses outside the Cultural Italy package, which were for food, tips and taxis! And one big shopping splurge on that rainy day in Sorrento!
We were totally enchanted by the beautiful scenery, lovely people, wonderful food, cultural experiences, such as the operas in Lucca and Vernazza and string quartet in Rome. We always enjoy meeting so many nice people, and the camaraderie with other travelers.
Hotels- location and price were good in each city. Hotel Duca de York in Milan was our favorite. Wish we had allowed more time to explore more of the city and Leonardo sights.
We appreciated the dependable tour guides and drivers who were prompt, professional and courteous.
