We had such a wonderful trip, thank you for all of your careful planning. Below are specific comments:
Pick ups/Drop offs- All were great, very smooth and easy. The cars and drivers were all nice and professional.
Hotels- We loved the ones in Rome and Minori, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts good and the staff were all great. The Residenza Johanna was not as good. The room was very small and the air conditioning did not work as well, so we were hot.There was not much room for breakfast, so we could not sit together. The kids ate in the hall. The person who runs it was very nice and helpful.
Guides: All were really good. They were knowledgeable and provided the right amount of information. Favorites were:
Allessandra in Frascati- the tour was great and she was super friendly
The segway tour guide, I don’t remember his name
Elena with the tour through Florence- she took us to less crowded places, helped us see the life in Florence as it was long ago, and helped us get tickets to see David.
Guide in Pompeii was the best- He kept the kids and us interested even with very hot temperatures.
The boat driver (Vinchenzo I think) was also great
Overall, everyone felt like this was a terrific vacation, one of the best. You put together the perfect activities for us with the right amount of free time.
Thanks again, I will do a write up on Trip Adviser. I definitely would recommend you to anyone going to Italy!
