Your service and responsiveness before and during our trip were above and beyond expectations. The level of detailed instructions you gave us right before the trip was very helpful in getting where we needed to be. The location of our hotels was very good. We appreciated all the drivers and transfers to get us around. It was unfortunate that we had to make adjustments to our plans while we were there, but knowing you could help us in a difficult time was reassuring. We are so grateful for your understanding and professionalism.
My favorite tours were Trastevere, the Farm, and Amalfi Drive. I was surprised at how interested I was in the Pompeii tour. In Sicily, we were amazed at the beauty of Favignana and Levanzo. The only problem was our boat captain didn’t speak any English!
Our mission to track genealogy in Sicily was successful. The hotel in Petralia Soprano was unique and very accommodating. It’s been hard to describe that area to people here in the US- there’s nothing like it!
We enjoyed Trapani much more than Palermo. We were glad we had more time there. I kind of wished I would have talked Will into going to Eastern Sicily instead of Western Sicily and flown in and out of Catania. I’ve heard really great things about Taormina and Siracusa and I probably won’t ever get back there.
