O’Brien Family Vacation

Hi Rita,
The trip was fantastic! We loved Rome. The tours of Vatican City, the Coliseum, and the Roman Forum were fascinating. The food in Rome was amazing. Our 2 favorite restaurants were Osteria Fortunata and Tonnarello. We also walked around and visited Pizza Navona, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. We really enjoyed the wine-tasting dinner at Roscioli Rimessa. The Tiramisu was the best Renee had ever had. **Side note, they changed the wine tasting to 6 wines and 10 food items. Letting you know so you can update your materials.**

We enjoyed the train ride. From Rome to Naples. I can’t believe we were going 300 km! In Pompeii the tour of the city was incredible. We loved the experience at Bosco de’ Medici so much, that we had 11 bottles of wine and one bottle of olive oil shipped home.

The Art Hotel Marmorata was awesome and the view from our room was breathtaking. We enjoyed several afternoons poolside next to the sea. The Private boat tour along the coast was incredible. The view was unbelievable. We stopped for 45 minutes in Positano to shop and our lunch at Maria Grazia in Nerano was our best meal on the Amalfi Coast. **Side note, the only thing on the boat was a few bottles of water. We were not provided Prosecco, Coca-Cola, snorkeling equipment, or towels (we had to bring our own).**

The Amalfi Lemon Experience was truly memorable. The tour was good but the cooking class was truly special. Making our own food, and then getting to enjoy it with my beautiful wife while drinking a bottle of Falanghina, is perfect! I have the recipe for the pasta and we are making it this week.

Ravello is a beautiful town. We went through the amazing gardens of Villa Rufulo and Hotel Villa Cimbrone. We also had excellent dinners in Minori and went back to Amalfi for dinner as well.

We spent our last night enjoying happy hour and the beautiful spas of the QC Termeroma. This was a great way to end our trip of a lifetime. Thank you for making our trip amazing! Until we plan the next trip, arriveerci!
