Good evening Nicoletta,
Thank you for the welcome back message! I can start by saying “WOW”… we have an amazing time during this trip. It is absolutely the best vacation we have ever had and everything on the itinerary was perfect for us.
Every hotel we selected was beautiful and the service was excellent. Every location within Italy that we visited… was awesome! Every one of the tour guides and drivers… we loved them!
The Lamborghini Tour was a big hit with my husband and son. They were able to do the test drive first (I can’t even describe how big their smiles were after the test drive), and then we all went across the street to the Lamborghini Museum for a guided tour and then up to the manufacturing floor to watch how the cars are made with a complete guided tour there. They did an unbelievable job! I highly recommend this for any other customers you have. I heard that Ferrari also has a Museum, however they do not allow tours of their manufacturing floor so for us, the Lamborghini tour was an exact match to what we wanted to experience.
The food tours in Venice, Bologna and Rome were so fun! The tour guides in each location were so personable and really made the experience educational and special. The food was really good too! We have already ordered our own pasta making equipment on Amazon so we can re-create what we learned in the Rome Pasta Making Class. That class was unbelievable as we got to work with two chefs in a small group inside a local apartment in Rome. You could not get more authentic than that!
The day trip to Siena and San Gimignono was so nice! We really got the Tuscany experience there and could have stayed longer there if we had more days in our trip. Good reason to go back, right???
Thank you so much for arranging for the larger transfer to FCO. We were wondering why the small passenger bus was waiting for us J When we pulled up at the Hotel Number Nine in Florence, we had the entire hotel staff in the lobby waiting for us as they thought we were either a big VIP or a small tour group. It was pretty funny for everyone watching us pull up to the hotel when we popped into the lobby. The staff loved the “big” entrance.
And thank you all for working out the boat tour in Florence. We felt so badly that we got a little lost getting to the meeting point and missed the start time of the original boat reservation. We are so thankful that you were able to rebook another boat tour the next day. What incredible service! You all are amazing.
I don’t think the words “thank you” are enough to convey what a wonderful and memorable trip that you put together for us. We are so happy with every minute and every detail included in the itinerary that we are confident that we’ll plan another trip with you in the future.
I have about a thousand pictures from the trip on three different cameras and I need to upload them to my laptop. I will send you a few of my favorites form one camera now and a few more later this week. Sound good? You can absolutely publish any photos that I send to you on your Cultural Italy guestbook.
