Good morning Luana,
We had a wonderful time in Italy! The weather didn’t want to cooperate but nevertheless, we enjoyed our trip immensely.
My daughters loved Trestevere as did my husband and I. The twilight tour with Sebastiano was must do. The tour guides were knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. Can’t forget to mention how close we were at Papal Audience. Loved Papa Francesco. There is so much to do and see in Rome…impossible in 4 days. History is overwhelming coming from such a young country, the US.
Tuscan Travellers (our driver Lorenzo) were great. Loved Montepulciano, Bevagna, Greve in Tuscany. Lorenzo showed us one of his favorite villages as an added bonus. The luncheon/wine tour at Gattivecchi was also fabulous. Romanelli vineyards/lunch so good! Also, Quecerto Vineyards was lovely…bought a case of wine to be shipped home (only to find out yesterday, my local store sells it, oh well).
The cooking class in Florence was so much fun…can’t wait to make homemade Tiramisu! Florence is beautiful…fell in love with David! Bought three jackets from a wonderful store in Florence. Sure hope Texas gets chilly enough yo wear next winter! We all loved the Cinque Terre…next time, we might choose to stay in Manarola but my girls wanted a beach this time. Sailing tour was probably my favorite thing…our skipper was easy on the eyes. All in all, a great vacation…thank you Luana, you’re the best!
You answered all our questions before the trip and were immediately available while we were in Italy. So glad we cancelled bike trip…rain in Radda. We enjoyed massages at the spa instead!
Thank you so much. We plan on going again next year…Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, etc. We will most definitely be in contact.
