The trip was amazing!!! Tuscany and the Villa were amazing. The staff and food were perfect. We didn’t eat at any other place for dinner! They had such a great selection that changed daily. It was simply the best.
Monterosso was definitely our favorite place and the hike was exactly what we were hoping for! Marco was an amazing and perfect guide. He continually adapted and pushed us physically but kept us well informed of the area and the best sites. Your choice for the B&B was perfect! I have already recommended it to a couple of my friends who are heading out to there in the future. Fausto and Mariapia were the perfect hosts! Milan was acceptable, but in retrospect we probably should have planned that portion of the trip better. We failed to research the best sights (at least in our eyes), which would have been to dine at the canals that evening. The Duomo was an amazing site and the guide was quite nice. Lake Como was amazing, despite the weather, which unfortunately kind of dampened the hiking experience for us. The next day’s lake tour was great though and helped to make up for some of the bad weather the day before. The only feedback I would offer, drawing from the Lake Como experience, would be to potentially facilitate direct communication with the hiking guide’s prior to the departure. This may help the traveling personnel adjust their packing items accordingly based on the recommendations of the guide.
