JANUARY 2020

Hey Alessia,

We had a great time — thanks to your guidance – having your services were invaluable to us; having detailed instructions on where to meet the guides, along with advanced-purchased tickets to the venues saved us so much time and confusion.

We liked Florence immensely, and the Hotel Silla was the perfect spot for us. It was close to everything, but enough off the beaten path for it to be quiet.
The highlights of our time in Florence were absolutely the cooking class you set up with Accidental Tourist (Gabriela and Leone (sp?) were the friends of the company’s owner), and they recommended what turned out to be our favorite restaurant, Pensavo Peggio.
We also visited a winery, Podere la Marronaia, in San Gimignano — a terrific experience.

Rome was a bit more complicated to navigate for us, but we thought very highly of our guide, Manuela, who works for Rome with a Roman.
Our favorite restaurant there was Osteria delle Coppelle, near the Pantheon. We also enjoyed Osteria Coppelle, near Vatican City.

I would also commend Salvatore, who booked us terrific seats on Air Italia; the flights were quite comfortable considering how long they were.

I think as beautiful as Italy is, what we enjoyed the most was when we could connect with people.

Cheers, and ciao!
