My husband and I just returned from our third extended tour of Italy, arranged by Luana from Cultural Italy. This time, we spent 28 nights in Sicily and Umbria, visiting 16 cities. Luana booked 8 boutique hotels, all within the city centers, as well as all private transfers throughout the month. We had an amazing 19 private tours, including wine tastings, cooking classes, walking tours, and factory tours.
The only glitch of the trip is that our airline lost our luggage for the first nine days of the trip. Even though it was not their responsibility, the entire staff at Cultural Italy worked tirelessly to locate and secure our bags. Without their assistance, our luggage would never have been found. They called the airline and airports several times each day and kept us closely advised of their progress. The comfort of having such a strong organization supporting us while abroad cannot be overstated.
We are already planning our 4th trip with Luana, this time to the Abruzzo region next year. We would never travel to Italy without the support of Luana and Cultural Italy.
