15.000 Butterflies Invade Historical Milanese Palazzo

EXHIBITION

15.000 butterflies invade historical Milanese palazzo.

You will definitely have chills entering this magic space. 15,000 black butterflies dramatically cover the whole interior of the historical Milanese apartment at Fondazione Adolfo Pini in the heart of Brera Design District. Entitled “Black Cloud” this is a site specific art installation created by the Mexican artist Carlos Amorales.

Through this swarm of thousands of black butterflies populating the Foundation, the artist scenes the theme of human violence against other human beings.

Inaugurated on the 2nd of April on the occasion of MIART 2019 the installation will stay open through July 8th. So if you are not yet in Milan you have plenty of time to visit this mysterious space and to understand whether all those butterflies are actually real.
