Lights and music: huge cubic sculpture under the tracks of Milano Centrale
Light installations are always among the most memorable events at the Milan Design Week. Especially when the visual experience is combined with the sound one. Aria Lighting has created “Come to light” work of art, an ephemeral object featuring powerful geometry-based aesthetics. Ever-changing, sometimes flashing, sometimes kaleidoscopic minimal lights, and interacting with music, this installation tries to trick the visitor’s perception.
Minimal post—industrial backdrop of the dynamic light sculpture matches perfectly with the object on show. Located under the tracks of Milan Central Station in Ventura Centrale design district, this space is known as Magazzini. Large industrial vaults have been officially dismissed since years, and rediscovered (and reinterpreted) by the founders of Ventura Projects only three years ago.
The third edition of Ventura Centrale brought together 17 design studios, and therefore represents another not-to-miss design district at Milan Design Week 2019.
