My husband and I enjoed our stay in Rome very much and especially that marvelous opera concert! I was personally positively surprised by “the quality” of singers! You see I am very spoiled by the Russian and Danish opera singers, so I did not expect that much from the unkown orchestra playing in the church.
It was wonderful. I would recommend telling people to allow more time between museums so they are not rushed. We were scheduled for the Accademia and the Uffizi only two hours apart.
