Thank you so much for planning our Italy vacation. We had such a wonderful time, and everything went smoothly. People keep asking us what we enjoyed most, and we really have trouble picking out one place or event over another. Wandering Venice on our own (and getting lost) was a great way to explore the city, and our private tour of Murano and Burano was wonderful. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable! We also loved Florence, and I am so glad we did see Siena, San Gimignano, and Assisi.
At one point in planning our vacation, I had considered skipping those, but I’m glad we took the extra couple of days to fit it in. We loved spending the night in Assisi.
In Rome, we were fascinated by the Colosseum and Roman ruins and of course the Vatican. Our day trip to Pompeii was also fascinating.
