Elena – our trip was GREAT – and the highlight – in spite of all the fuss every two years about the Biennale – was the trip up the Brenta to Vicenza and then to Padua. I cried when I saw how wonderful the restoration at the Scrovengi Chapel was. WOW!! And we loved the Theatro Olympico. Our guide was very nice and efficient – perfectly fine. BTW – the lunch at LeCalandre was unbelievable. You must ry it – waaaay over the top. Anyway – thank you for arranging it all. (I sing your praises to everyone I know who goes to Italy!!)
