Hi Luana,
We are slowly getting acclimated to our time change. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We absolutely loved our guide, Lucca, in Rome. He was exceptionally intelligent and surpassed any of our guides in the past. We also loved Sabina for Pompei. She made the trip interesting and was very well versed. The food tour in Rome was average. The guide was nice, but the food wasn’t anything special or memorable. As you know, I was hesitant about the 1.5 hours boat tour in Florence. Since we just arrived in the city, I would have loved to get a general educational introduction to Florence. The guide was vague and frankly, it wasn’t the caliber of the activities you had planned earlier. On the other hand, we really enjoyed John on our hike at Tuscany. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him. Not only did we learn about olives, we learned about Florence. The itinerary could have been more detailed about the experience, as well as the boat tour in Florence. Perhaps the detail about the boat tour could have prepared our expectations.
