DAY 1: ARRIVE IN VENICE
Upon arrival at Venice airport, meet your private driver for transfer to your hotel accommodation. After check-in, afternoon on your own to discover the secret corners and the colorful charming calli (streets) of Venice. Tonight enjoy a romantic sunset gondola ride. Optional activities: attend an evening concert or opera, or enjoy some typical Venetian cicchetti and nizioleti (small food bites accompanied by wine). Overnight stay.

DAY 2: MARVELS OF ST MARKS AND DOGE’S PALACE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy the Classic Venice tour and be ready to be amazed by the treasures of this romantic city. Explore St. Mark’s Square and St. Mark’s basilica, built over several centuries and resulting in a blend of Byzantine, Roman, and Venetian architecture. Admire the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Doge’s Palace. Lunch on your own. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 3: LAGOON ISLANDS DISCOVERY
Breakfast at the hotel. Today enjoy a full excursion of the lagoon islands: Murano, world-renowned for its glassware and factories, the Island of Burano, famous for its lace-making, and the brightly-colored fisherman’s cottages, Torcello, the first settlement in the lagoon. Return to Venice. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: FLORENCE – THE CRADLE OF RENAISSANCE
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure by high-speed train to Florence. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, join your guide on a tour to the Accademia museum, which hosts the impressive sculpture of the “David” by Michelangelo. You will also be able to admire The Prisoners and St Matthew, other impressive Michelangelo’s work of arts. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: UFFIZI GALLERY TREASURES
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour to the Uffizi museums, where you can admire the masterpieces of Florence’s finest Renaissance artists such as Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 6: FLORENCE AS YOU WISH
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. (Optional: explore Pisa and the famous Leaning Tower). Overnight stay.

DAY 7: TUSCAN ESCAPADE: SIENA AND SAN GIMIGNANO
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a full-day tour through the gorgeous Chianti countryside, and reach Siena where you will enjoy a walk through the typical narrow medieval streets, admiring the highlights of the city. After lunch, you will spend the afternoon in San Gimignano, one of the most charming and picturesque Tuscan hill towns with its medieval towers. Here you can visit the Cathedral, climb the Torre Grossa, take pictures of the gorgeous landscape and enjoy a delicious gelato in Cistern Square. Return to Florence. Overnight stay.

DAY 8: UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN: CORTONA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure transfer to Cortona, a small charming town in the province of Arezzo, featured in the movie “Under the Tuscan sun”. In the afternoon, join a cooking class and experience the philosophy of slow food. Overnight at the farm.

DAY 9: EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL WORKSHOP
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour of Cortona, the pearl of Val di Chiana. Thanks to its 500 mt above sea level position, the town offers a spectacular view over the valley, one of the most spectacular in all Italy, stretching out to Lake Trasimeno, Montepulciano, and beyond. Return to your accommodation and join the extra virgin olive oil tasting class. Learn more about this essential and irreplaceable element in the preparation of delicious Italian dishes. In addition to the tasting, information about growing olive trees, the picking, and all the stages of the pressing, highlighting the techniques of tasting and pairing, so as to learn about the different types and their characteristics. Overnight stay.

DAY 10: ESSENCE OF ROME
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the train station and departure by high-speed train to Rome. Check-in at your hotel in the city center. Afternoon tour of central Rome, including Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the famous Trevi Fountain, and the Piazza Colonna. Next stop at the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, then on to Campo de’ Fiori, one of the famous traditional Roman piazzas. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 11: ROME OF THE EMPERORS
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour of Ancient Rome to discover the Eternal city in all of its glory. First, you will tour the Colosseum starting atop the “Opium Hill”, continue with the visit of the Arena, the Undergrounds, and Third Tier and learn about the bloody past of the amphitheater. Afterward, Roman Forum, the heart of ancient Rome, the magnificent Arch of Constantine, the Palatine Hill. Walk the “Via Sacra” or “Sacred Way” which is the main path through the Roman Forum. Afternoon and evening at leisure. (Optional: evening opera or concert). Overnight stay.

DAY 12: MICHELANGELO’S MASTERPIECE & HOLY SEE
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will visit one of the top-rated museums in Rome: The Vatican museum and visiting the world’s greatest art collections. You’ll experience Michelangelo’s famous Creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel, Raphael’s Rooms, Saint Peter’s Basilica, and Saint Peter’s Square, as your guide points out Bernini’s ingenious use of optical illusion. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 13: ENCHANTING AMALFI COAST
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure by high-speed train to Naples and then private transfer to the Amalfi Coast. On your way to the next destination, enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is renowned for its natural beauty as well as its characteristic towns. The crystal clear ocean waters and breathtaking landscapes are offset by the famous towns of Sorrento, Praiano, Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi, whose charming architecture elegantly blends into the mountainous landscape. DAY 14: CAPRI
Breakfast at the hotel. Today enjoy a full-day excursion to the island of Capri. Visit the famous Villa St Michele, built by Axel Munthe followed by the visit of the Church of San Michele. Continue to the center of Capri, discover the famous Piazzetta and explore the narrow streets and its glamorous boutiques. Lunch on your own and free time for individual discovery. Visit the main square (Piazzetta), do some Capri shopping. Return transfer by hydrofoil to your village in the Amalfi Coast. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 15: POMPEII EXCAVATIONS
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning private tour to the world-famous Pompeii Excavations, an ancient Roman town buried under 65 ft of volcanic ashes during the cataclysmic volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Back to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 16: AMALFI COAST AT EASE
Breakfast at the hotel. Day on your own to relax and enjoy La Dolce Vita.

DAY 17: DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Naples airport and departure. Arrivederci!
