15.000 Butterflies Invade Historical Milanese Palazzo

You will definitely have chills entering this magic space. 15,000 black butterflies dramatically cover the whole interior of the historical Milanese apartment at Fondazione Adolfo Pini in the heart of Brera Design District. Entitled “Black Cloud” this is a site specific art installation created by the Mexican artist Carlos Amorales.

Endless Sky Made of Bright Lanterns at Objets Nomades by Louis Vuitton

Perhaps the longest queue of the Milan Design Week 2019, and definitely one of the strongest emotions. Exhibition “Objets Nomades” (or Nomadic Objects) by Louis Vuitton at Palazzo Serbelloni features the Home collection of the luxury French fashion brand. What really impresses about the Louis Vuitton exhibition is the breathtaking “sky” made of white lanterns. Hundreds and hundreds, they fill the whole space singing silent songs about the adventures to come and new horizons to explore.

Lights And Music: Huge Cubic Sculpture Under The Tracks of Milano Centrale

Light installations are always among the most memorable events at the Milan Design Week. Especially when the visual experience is combined with the sound one. Aria Lighting has created “Come to light” work of art, an ephemeral object featuring powerful geometry-based aesthetics. Ever-changing, sometimes flashing, sometimes kaleidoscopic minimal lights, and interacting with music, this installation tries to trick the visitor’s perception.
